Rangers Prospect Report: Zac Jones helps UMass to NCAA title

On the latest Rangers prospect report released by the team, 2019 third-rounder Zac Jones highlighted the group after helping his UMass team to an NCAA National Championship.

Jones recorded one goal in the Frozen Four Semifinal against Minnesota Duluth. He also posted a plus-one in the National Championship game. For the season, Jones also was ranked second among all defensemen in goals with nine on the year. He was also tied third in shots on goal (84) and tied eighth in assists (15).

Here's who else stood out recently for the Blueshirts:

D Nils Lundkvist: 2018 First Round

- Posted a plus-one in 35 minutes of ice time for the first game in the SHL playoffs with Lulea.
- Lundkvist tallied 14 goals and 32 points on the season.
- Led Lelua in shots on goal and was tied for team lead in goals and power play goals on the season.

- Recorded an assist/point in three of four games this past week for Brandon Wheat Kings (WHL)
- Tied for second among WHL defensemen in power play assists

RW Lauri Pajuniemi: 2018 Fifth Round

-Tallied a point in each of the three games played this week for TPS (Liiga)
- 38 points in 47 games played with a plus-12 rating this season
