The Rangers have released their latest prospect report, taking an in-depth look at what's going on for some of their highly-touted future pieces.
Vitaki Kravtsov is leading the pack with 10 points in 16 KHL games this season with Traktor. He also had 58 shots on goal, so he is really making his presence known on the ice. The first round pick for the Blueshirts in the 2018 NHL Draft is on pace to put up his best numbers in the KHL for his young career.
Nils Lundkvist is also doing well over in the SHL with Lulea. He has two goals and two assists in 10 games thus far. As a defensemen, those are some solid numbers to see to start the season. Lundkvist was the Rangers' other first-rounder in the '18 Draft.
Here's what else happened for Rangers prospects:
- Karl Henriksson (2nd round, 2019 Draft): Three assists and 12 shots on goal in 11 SHL games.
- Oliver Tarnstrom (3rd round, 2020 Draft): Has four goals and four assists in 12 games with AIK's J20 team (Sweden)
- Tarmo Reunanen (4th round, 2016 Draft): Joined HPK in Liiga (Finland) this week.
- Braden Schneider (1st round, 2020 Draft) and Matthew Robertson (2nd round, 2019 Draft): Invited to Canada's Junior National Team Selection Camp ahead of 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship.
