Now that Zac Jones has been signed and is set to join the Rangers, we get the chance to focus on some other prospects who are performing across the globe.

On the latest Rangers prospect report released by the team, Braden Schneider, the team's 19th overall pick in the 2020 draft, tallied an assist/point in each of the Brandon Wheat Kings' four games during the week (one goal, six assists, plus-eight rating in the four contests).

He is tied for second in the WHL in plus/minus rating (plus-20), ranks fifth in the WHL in power play assists (11), and is tied for seventh in the WHL in assists (17) this season.

  • Tallied two goals in Game 5 of Lulea’s Quarterfinals series against Skelleftea on Apr. 17; helped Lulea take a three-games-to-two lead in the series

  • Has averaged 25:11 of ice time through the first five games of the series

  • Ranked fifth in the SHL (ranked second among SHL defensemen) in shots on goal in 2020-21 (156); was one shot on goal shy of tying the leader among SHL defensemen for the season

  • Tallied 14 goals and 32 points this season, establishing an SHL career-high in each category; led SHL defensemen in goals and power play goals (eight) this season

RW Lauri Lajuniemi, Fifth Round, 2018 Draft

  • Completed the Liiga regular season during the week; begins the Quarterfinals of the Liiga Playoffs with TPS on Apr. 19 against Pelicans in a best-of-five series

  • Established Liiga career-highs in assists (16) and plus/minus rating (plus-12) this season

  • Tied for sixth in Liiga in goals (22) and power play goals (nine), and ranked 16th in shot attempts (226) this season

  • Among players who were in their U22 season or younger in 2020-21: ranked first in goals, and tied for fourth in points (38) and plus/minus rating

C Morgan Barron, Sixth Round, 2017 Draft

  • Tallied a point in two of Hartford’s three games during the week (one goal, one assist)

  • Has recorded a point in 14 of the Wolf Pack’s 18 games this season, including a goal in eight of the 18 contests

  • Ranks third among AHL rookies in goals this season (nine)

  • Is tied for third in the AHL in power play goals in 2020-21 (five)

  • Leads Hartford in goals, points (17), and plus/minus rating (plus-five), is tied for the team lead in power play goals, ranks second in shots on goal (49), and ranks fourth in assists (eight) this season
