Rangers 'delighted' with Hibs turnaround - Hill

Kathy Hill was "relieved" to find the back of the net and grab the winner for Rangers against Hibs on Sunday.

Speaking to RangersTV, the defender said her side "weren't panicking" despite going in at half-time 1-0 down.

Rio Hardy equalised in the 77th minute, before Hill bagged the winner three minutes later to keep Rangers a point clear at the top of the SWPL.

“It was a big victory," Hill said. "At this stage of the season, and as cliched as it sounds, you need to get three points in every game.

“We’re delighted at how we turned the game around. Going in at half-time, we were disappointed to be 1-0 down because I don’t think we were playing that badly.

“Even towards the end there, we weren’t panicking and it was important once we got in front we saw out the game.

“Out of all the players on the pitch, I’m probably the last person they would’ve wanted [in a scoring position].

“I’m glad it hit the net and there was a bit of relief. I want to contribute as much as I can up the other end of the pitch.

“I’m just delighted for the girls that we got the win.”
