Before the puck dropped for the Rangers and Washington Capitals on Sunday, head coach David Quinn discussed his battle with COVID-19.
Quinn and other members of his staff were placed in COVID-19 protocols on March 17, unable to coach in the Rangers' game against the Flyers. And they have been out since, making sure that protocols are met and they tested negative before returning.
Quinn said that he is "feeling good physically" and he "didn't get hit too bad with it."
In his absence, Hartford Wolf Pack head coach Kris Knoblauch took over and Quinn commended his efforts during that time. The Rangers went 3-2 with Knoblauch at the helm.
