The Rangers have activated Ryan Lindgren and Kevin Rooney from COVID protocol, the team announced on Monday.

New York hosts the Edmonton Oilers on Monday night.

While the Blueshirts will get two key cogs back, they remain without Artemi Panarin, who landed in protocol on Sunday.

Panarin leads the Rangers with 36 points, and his 26 assists are tied with Adam Fox for the most on the team.

Panarin had an assist in the Rangers' New Year's Eve win in Tampa. His 26:04 time on ice on Friday was his most playing time of the season.
