Rams’ SoFi Stadium will be used as voting center for November election

The Rams and Chargers aren’t yet allowing fans inside SoFi Stadium, but voters will be able to get an up-close look at the $5 billion building later this fall. The teams announced on Tuesday that SoFi Stadium will be used as a voting center for the November election.

The voting center won’t be in SoFi Stadium itself, but rather in an NFL trailer adjacent to it. The grounds of SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park will just house the polling location for those voting in the election.

“This is a touchdown for democracy! Partnering with SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Los Angeles Rams to host a vote center in such a large, visible location demonstrates the spirit of community and a shared commitment to make sure all voters have access to cast a ballot in 2020,” said Dean C. Logan, Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Los Angeles County in a statement.

SoFi Stadium is the 13th NFL facility to be used as a polling location this fall, with the Seahawks, Chiefs, Texans and Packers among the other teams hosting voting centers in November.

Here are the instructions provided by the Rams for voters who will submit their ballots at Hollywood Park.

  • The address is 1000 S. Prairie Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90301

  • Voters will enter off Prairie and Arbor Vitae and make a right onto District Drive

  • Parking is available in Lot N, with ADA parking in Lot adjacent to construction trailers

  • The Vote Center will be in the NFL Trailer

The polling location will be open from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., as well as on Election Day, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
