Rams-49ers injury report: Rapp and Jefferson limited Thursday
The Los Angeles Rams listed six players on their initial injury report on Wednesday after holding a walkthrough to start the week. Among them were Greg Gaines, Van Jefferson, Taylor Rapp and Andrew Whitworth, all of whom are starters when healthy.
The injury outlook improved for the Rams on Thursday with Rapp, Whitworth and Jefferson all practicing. Rapp and Jefferson were still limited, while Whitworth and Gaines were full participants.
Joe Noteboom remains out with a chest injury, and John Wolford was added to the report after missing practice due to an illness.
The 49ers listed Trent Williams as a non-participant for the second consecutive day, raising concerns about his availability on Sunday. Kyle Shanahan still believes he’s going to play, but he’s clearly not 100% healthy right now.
Elijah Mitchell returned to practice and was limited, and Ambry Thomas progressed from limited to full in the second practice.
