Ramirez, Gimenez hit home runs; Guardians rally in ninth to beat Reds, 10-7

Mar. 24—Jose Ramirez and Andrews Gimenez hit home runs as the Guardians beat the Reds, 10-7, in their final Cactus League game of 2024 at Goodyear Ballpark,

With the game tied, 7-7, in the top of the ninth, the Guardians scored one run on a groundout by Jonah Advincula, and Daniel Schneemann hit a two-run home run for the final margin.

Logan Allen started and went 4 2/3 innings. He gave up six runs on eight hits, including two home runs, struck out three and walked two. Emmanuel Clase pitched one scoreless inning later in the game. He struck out two and walked one.

Cleveland has two more games before the start of the regular season, both against the Diamondbacks in Phoenix. Tyler Beede (0-0, 1.69) gets the start March 25.
