Raiders QB Derek Carr not really getting into music business (thank goodness)
The number of professional athletes who have also experienced success in the music industry is very small.
That hasn’t stopped dozens of athletes from trying to become singers or rappers (if you’ve heard Deion Sanders’ “Must Be the Money,” you will not forget it, let’s just say), and for a while it seemed Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was trying to get his side hustle on as he starts a music career.
Carr tweeted out a short teaser video to go along with a new site DerekCarrMusic.com.

And it was an actual website, brooding picture and all.
You can understand why people would be skeptical. A popped-collar denim jacket? Chicago Bears cornerback Prince Amukamara was wondering, too.
Stop!!!! lol is this real?

Ah, it was too good to be true. Carr gave up the joke not too much longer.
everyone calm down it's ALL a joke! I don't really dress like that and make music videos on the side

Good for Carr, because the jokes would have been relentless.
