GLENDALE, Ariz. – Josh Jacobs' first three NFL carries came all in a row. Each one took yards in chunks, as the Raiders running back slashed through Arizona's defense like a hot knife through butter.

All that running pulled the Cardinals in close. That's when Derek Carr let it fly. He sent a long bomb to Tyrell Williams down the left sideline, and finished the scoring drive with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Grant.

Jacobs, Jacobs, Jacobs. Deep shot. Jacobs. Touchdown.

That's exactly how you draw it up.

Williams' catch was a beauty.

That's all head coach Jon Gruden needed to see from his first-unit offense, still operating without Antonio Brown, who suited up and ran through drills prior to kickoff.

The top offensive line, from left to right, was manned by Kolton Miller, Richie Incognito, Rodney Hudson, Jordan Devey and Trent Brown.

The Raiders marched 75 yards on six plays on that all-too-easy drive.

Jacobs ended up with 21 yards on four carries, and Carr completed both of his passes for 40 yards and a touchdown.

The offense sat back down after that series, and likely will play a bit more next week in Winnipeg and shut it down for the exhibition finale in Seattle.
