Four years after he earned his first career victory at Torrey Pines, Jon Rahm is starting the week as the man to beat at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Rahm curled in a memorable, cross-country eagle putt on the 72nd green to earn his maiden PGA Tour title here back in 2017, and he has since reached much loftier heights. The current world No. 2 returns this week to San Diego, having withdrawn from last week's American Express after injuring himself during a pre-tournament workout. Rahm was a runner-up last year at Torrey Pines and has finished outside the top 5 just once in four appearances, a big reason why he's listed as a +700 favorite according to oddsmakers at PointsBet Sportsbook. Another former No. 1, Rory McIlroy, is next on the list at +850, followed by local product Xander Schauffele at +1400.

Last week's winner, Si Woo Kim, is listed alongside last year's Farmers champ, Marc Leishman, at +4000. Other notable names in the field include Rickie Fowler (+7600), Jordan Spieth (+8500) and Phil Mickelson (+12500), as players look to get some work in on the South Course at Torrey Pines before it plays host to the U.S. Open in June.
