Quion Williams fourth Cowboy to enter transfer portal

Apr. 1—Oklahoma State sophomore guard Quion Williams is entering his name into the portal as of Monday afternoon, first reported by 247 Sports' Brandon Jenkins.

The news comes the same day as Oklahoma State announced the hiring of Steve Lutz as the program's next head coach.

Williams is the fourth member of the Oklahoma State basketball roster in the transfer portal, joining freshmen Brandon Garrison and Eric Dailey Jr., as well as junior guard Javon Small. None of the Cowboys have committed to other schools, yet.

In his sophomore season, Williams showed off his versatility, leading the team in steals and rebounds and was second in assists. He also emerged as a legitimate scoring option down the stretch, scoring a career-high 21 points against Oklahoma in late February.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound sophomore guard was a four-star recruit out of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

With this reported addition to the portal, Oklahoma State's roster includes just four scholarship players: Bryce Thompson, Connor Dow, Justin McBride and Jamyron Keller.
