Derrick Rose made his Knicks debut after being acquired via trade from the Detroit Pistons. On this week's episode of The Putback with Ian Begley, SNY NBA insider Ian Begley and Chris Williamson look at Knicks trades of the past, present and future and are joined by ESPN’s Tim MacMahon to debate the winner and loser of the Kristaps Porzingis trade now that we’re two years removed. The Dallas Mavericks are currently trending downward and the Knicks now hold a surprising lottery pick.

With the NBA trade deadline a month and a half away, the guys forecast the pieces the Knicks are taking calls on. They also hit on outcasts Kevin Knox and Frank Ntilikina, to All-Star worthy Julius Randle, to Elfrid Payton

Ian and Chris also break down who Detroit really asked for in the Derrick Rose deal and dispel concerns about Immanuel Quickley’s minutes.
