Priyanka Chopra has revealed she is still in disbelief that her first date with Nick Jonas didn’t end with a kiss.

Chopra and Jonas are set to marry this weekend in a lavish ceremony in India, months after they got engaged.

But Jonas has revealed that his bride-to-be is “still upset” about the way their first date ended, which he maintains was “respectful”.

Chopra, 36, told Vogue: “We hung out for a couple of hours. He patted my back before he left.” Jonas added: “She’s still upset about that.”

He continued: “Your mum was in the house! I thought it was a respectful first night.”

Chopra has previously joked that although she was in a relationship with Jonas, she always “felt single” until the moment he got down on one knee.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the launch of Bumble India, in which she is an investor, Chopra said: “This is the first time I was comfortable with being with someone who is such an incredible partner, so it just felt natural [to talk about him].

“And plus there was a ring on it! I always said that when there’s a ring on it I’ll talk about it because you’re single until you’re married.”

Chopra and Jonas arrived in Jodhpur on Thursday ahead of their nuptials, reportedly at Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Last week, the pair celebrated their first Thanksgiving together, hours after Jonas arrived in India .

Both shared the same photograph of a huge family dinner. Jonas sat at the top of the table, beaming, next to his fiancé.
