Prep report: Priem, Tigers take down Ladysmith

Feb. 19—Northwestern got a second-consecutive 30-point game from Bryce Priem while defeating Ladysmith 79-69 on Monday, Feb. 19 in Maple in a battle for second place in the Heart O'North Conference.

Priem made six 3-pointers for the Tigers, who led 42-33 at the half.

Teammates Boden Teal and Daniel Voigt chipped in 14 and 11, respectively for Northwestern, which carries a 16-7 record (14-3 HON) into its regular season finale on Thursday, Feb. 22 at Cumberland.

Four Agates scored in double figures as Two Harbors doubled up International Falls at home on Monday night.

Jace Gomez led the way with 17 points, while Cash Williams had 12 and both Thor Tokvam and Isaiah Hietala added 10. Two Harbors (12-11) led 43-22 at halftime.

The Broncos had a little too much for the Agates in the second half, earning a nine-point victory behind 20 from Cheznee Skrien. International Falls outscored Two Harbors 32-22 in the second half to pull out the win.

Rachel Bopp and Belle Bolle scored 23 points apiece for the Agates.
