PREP FOOTBALL: North Vermillion falls short against Park Tudor
Nov. 4—CAYUGA, Ind. — Senior Cody Tryon rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns but the North Vermillion Falcons fell to the Indianapolis Park Tudor Panthers 41-28 for the IHSAA Sectional 42 championship at Gibson Field.
The fifth-rated Panthers (12-0) scored 22 unanswered points in the second half to overcome a 21-12 halftime deficit.
Park Tudor quarterback DJ Gordon accounted for 360 yards — 127 rushing and 233 passing — of total offense and five touchdowns in the victory.
