This season, for the first time, the Premier League season will kick off on a Friday. But that’s far from the only big change that the 2018-19 campaign will bring: we have new teams (at least two of whom will be chasing a top-half finish), new players (over $1.3bn has been spent this summer so far), new managers (Chelsea and Arsenal boast new continental coaches) and a new ball (it’s round and shiny).
