The intersection of Highway 45 and Vann Drive down to Country Club Lane remains blocked off until crews finish repair work, which is anticipated to be around 9 p.m.
“We have most of the businesses back on, except this isolated section,” said Charlie Jones, the scene supervisor with Jackson Energy Authority, as he directed the work. “This ain’t nothing new, this is just the job.”
Jackson Fire Department Station 5 was unaffected.
