Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim told reporters Thursday that he could see potentially trading up four or five spots. He said it would have to be a scenario in which there was a player available they believe “is a dynamic playmaker or a difference maker.”
There are many nice players in the draft who will be on the board at No. 23.
But who are those potential difference makers?
Here are some potential targets who might be the trade-up targets.
Alabama WR Jameson Williams
Syndication The Enquirer
There are a number of nice receivers in the draft class. Williams is a difference maker. His ACL tear could cause him to fall and if he is still on the board by the 18th pick (five spots ahead of where the Cardinals select), they probably would be willing to go get him.
Georgia DT Jordan Davis
Joshua L Jones
Davis is a physical freak. He is 341 lbs but runs, jumps and moves like a linebacker.
He would make an impact immediately on the defensive line.
Washington CB Trent McDuffie

McDuffie is not Sauce Gardner or Derek Stingley Jr. but I get the impression they love him. He is one of the more coveted prospects in the draft. It is a premium position and there are questions at the position, so it could happen. Stingley and Garnder qualify for this, too, but they all are likely going in the top 12.
Ohio State WR Garrett Wilson
Wilson is largely considered the better receiver prospect between him and teammate Chris Olave. The Cardinals like Olave, but he probably isn’t dynamic enough to move up for.
Wilson has a higher ceiling, which makes him more likely to be a trade-up candidate.

George Karlaftis is a nice pick as a pass rusher, but Johnson is the last of the big-time pass rushers. He probably will not last the first 15 picks, but with his size, athleticism, production and dominance at the Senior Bowl, if he were to slide a little, he would be one of the players the Cardinals would try and trade up for.
