For the first time in well over a decade, Rob Gronkowski is going to have a whole lot of free time when the next NFL season starts. After a 10-year NFL career, including three Super Bowl wins with the New England Patriots, Gronk decided to call it a career this spring at age 29.
Now just barely into his 30s, there's no way the book on Gronk is anywhere near closed. He has too much charisma, too much personality, too much, well, Gronkness, to stay out of the spotlight for long. Just this offseason (I guess it's all offseason for him now), he's had his usual visibility, making charity trips to children's hospitals, spending time with his girlfriend, model Camille Kostek, hyping up local fans as best he can, and, you know, just generally doing what he does.
But guess what? When September comes, and Gronk isn't getting ready to spike the ball a few times—much to the chagrin of Jets fans, Bills fans, and the rest of the NFL's followers—he's going to have to weigh his options. And we did just that for him.
