Porsche to race in Antarctica

Valkyrie Racing, the organization that participates in rally races around the world to combat child trafficking is heading to Antarctica for their final rally. The “Polar Porsche” that will be used for the sub-zero rally is a 1956 Porsche 356 that is fitted with skis and tracks. The race will take place in Antarctica on December 5th, 2021. They’ll be driving a modified 1956 Porsche 356 fitted with skis and tracks. To tackle its next challenge a 356-mile journey from Union Glacier to the South Pole and back. The “Polar Porsche” had to be designed to combat the sub-zero operating temperatures. Which may reach -58 degrees Fahrenheit.
