Poll Results: Should the Falcons trade for Lamar Jackson?

The Atlanta Falcons released quarterback Marcus Mariota on Tuesday, leaving Desmond Ridder as the team’s starter going into 2023. With nearly $70 million in cap space, the team is in position to make a splash in free agency and could look to upgrade the QB position.

One option is Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who’s expected to be franchise-tagged if a long-term deal isn’t reached. Acquiring the former NFL MVP would undoubtedly put Atlanta back on the map, but it would require the team to give up a boatload of draft picks.

We asked our readers if the Falcons should trade for Jackson, but many felt the cost would be too high. Check out the final poll results below!
