Two arrested after shots fired in Cambridge; about 20 shell casings found
Two people are in custody after an apparent exchange of gunfire in Cambridge.
Police say at least four cars and a building on Hurley Street were hit by bullets. Investigators found nearly 20 shell casings at the scene.
A Boston resident in his early 20s was arrested at the scene with a gun on him, according to police. Another suspect, also from Boston and in his early 20s, was taken into custody in Somerville following a crash on McGrath Highway and a foot chase.
Police did not identify either suspect by name.

The Cambridge Police are conducting an active investigation after there were reports of multiple gunshots in the area of Hurley Street and Charles Street today at approximately 12:30 p.m.
