There are a lot of things pet owners do to make their fur babies feel comfortable — like getting them a soft faux fur bed they can cuddle up in anytime of the day. In fact, sometimes I look down at my dog sleeping in his while I’m working and wish I could nap the day away in there, too. Well, I still have to work — (to provide him with the best life possible, of course!) — but at least there’s now a dog bed for humans.
Yes, you read that right: There is a dog bed for humans, and it’s called the Plufl.
The Plufl is essentially a soft, orthopedic and gel-infused memory foam pad with a bolster pillow all the way around. It looks just like a giant dog bed, measuring 68 inches long, 32 inches wide and around 13 inches tall. It weighs 25 pounds, but there are handles on the side, so you can easily transport it from room to room. It also has a soft vegan faux fur cover that’s machine-washable, and it has a side pocket that’s big enough to hold your phone, book, snacks and more.
“Prepare for an out-of-the-world napping experience,” the brand writes on its website.
You could take a nap in it any time, anywhere in your home. Lay in it to watch TV or play video games or while you work from home — some reviewers seem to have made this their main bed for sleeping even.
“I have slept on it every night since I got it, and it’s maintained it’s fluffy and firm shape,” wrote one reviewer. “It’s the comfiest bed I’ve ever had. I love the pocket that I can just slip my iPad into as I go to bed.”
Plufl comes from two recent college grads — and you may have seen them on Shark Tank. “If you work like a dog, why not sleep like one?” the founders asked the Sharks. In the end, they received an investment from Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban.
Of course, TikTok found it and loves it, too. Some compare it to a bean bag chair but comfier. Influencer @thekalenallen shared a video of his Plufl to demonstrate how he and two of his large dogs could fit inside it together. Another TikTok user shared how much her dog liked the Plufl — he took it over completely. “It’s even better than I anticipated it would be,” TikTok creator @allieroseco shared in another video.
