Pizza Hut presents the Players of the Week (Week 9)
Oct. 24—Aiden Barnett — Barnett energized the Rusk defense by making three interceptions in the Eagles' 28-21 victory over Bullard. He tallied eight tackles and two pass break ups to complete his body of work.
Jermichael Sturns — Leading the Rusk defense in tackles Friday was Sturns who came up with 16 take downs. The junior linebacker also was credited with a caused fumble.
Clifford Douglas III — The Bullard wideout made 13 catches for 137 yards and caught two touchdown passes in the Panthers district encounter against Rusk. His longest scoring grab covered 47 yards.
Ty Lovelady — Troup's receiving corps was lead by Lovelady, who made eight catches for 95 yards. Defensively, Lovelady collected 10 tackles and had a pass interception in the Tigers'13-9 loss to West Rusk.
