The Cincinnati Bengals have seen plenty of defensive back Joe Haden - in his fifth season with the Pittsburgh Steelers after playing for the Cleveland Browns for his first seven National Football League seasons - since he entered the league in 2010.

But Haden will not face the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday after the team announced Saturday that the cornerback has been ruled out for the game after downgrading him from questionable with a mid-foot sprain.

James Pierre is expected to start in Haden's absence.

The Steelers also placed tight end Eric Ebron and center/guard J.C. Hassenauer on injured reserve.

Haden has started all eight games in which he's played this season. He doesn't have an interception this season, but has 10 over the previous four seasons with Pittsburgh - including one against the Bengals in Oct. 2017.

One of Haden's two career interception returns for touchdowns came for the Browns in Cincinnati in Nov. 2013.
