WHAT THEY THINK

Jay G. Tate, possessor of strong calf game.

Auburn 42-14

They're going to run, aren't they? They're going to run the damn ball all day long.

Bryan Matthews, defending champ. It’s pronounced JIF.

Auburn 41-10

All eyes will be on Auburn’s offense against an outmatched Mercer team. This should be an easy win for the Tigers but it really needs to be about establishing an identity and showing some consistency on offense. Another anemic passing performance might bring out the torches and pitchforks from the Auburn fanbase.

Jeffrey Lee, specializes in sending links.

Auburn 48-3

Auburn takes out its frustrations on a decent Mercer team. The visiting Bears are averaging 37.5 points per game, but they haven't faced a defense like the one they'll face on Saturday. Auburn's offense should be able to score at will, and I expect it will.

Hunter Adams, your momma’s favorite football coach.

Auburn 56-13

The Tigers really need to use this week to sharpen the saw. Ideally a strong and diverse offensive showing gives a defense that has played out of it's mind some rest. I think Auburn sees what it had hoped to see week one.

Mr. Quarter, flippin' and pickin' since 1987. Liker of trucks.

Auburn 40-6

Auburn can’t pass or catch, or even pass block. That won’t matter this week but it will in the weeks ahead.
