Ward, whose 150 hours of documentary writing on PBS include on Ken BurnsThe Civil War, Baseball, The West, Jazz and most recently WGA-nominated The Vietnam War, will be awarded the WGA East’s Ian McLellan Hunter Award for Career Achievement.
