Soldier hacked to death on London city street

Police forensics officers continue to investigate the scene where a British soldier was hacked to death by two men. As tributes of flowers are laid for the deceased at the crime scene, members of the British government are calling it a terrorist attack.

Woman standing up to London knife attacker caught on camera

Twitter user Basil Baradaran (@SiibillamLaw) posted a picture to the social network on May 22 with the caption "My mum is a motherf***ing badass," following a brutal knife attack in south London's Woolwich area. According to The Guardian, Baradaran's mother Ingrid Loyau-Kennett was the woman who stood between the assailant and his victim.
