MLB on-field tributes to 9/11

As America’s pastime, baseball has not only played its role as an entertainer but has also played a huge role in uniting us during hard times. Today marks the 12-year anniversary of the horrific events that took place on September 11, 2001. Before every baseball game today, the teams will honor the victims of Sept. 11 and pay tribute to the heroes involved. Take a look at images from the ballparks as the league remembers 9/11.
