Massive quake hits Iran

A 7.8 magnitude quake struck Iran near the Pakistan border on Tuesday April 16, 2013, killing at least five people.

Security was tightened at the Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai airport after a threat mail citing hijacking information was received from an anonymous person. The mail said that few people were plotting a plan to hijack airplanes at the airport of these three cities. A special meeting was called at the Mumbai airport with connection to the same. The meeting was attended by airport operators, representatives of domestic and international airlines, local police and immigration officials.
