Jerry Rice Jr. still trying to follow in dad's footsteps

For all the kids who get out of college and think they'll get a job at daddy's company right after graduation, this one's for you: Jerry Rice Jr. is trying to latch on with the San Francisco 49ers.

Rice went undrafted out of UNLV, where he played for a year after transferring from UCLA. Rice was good enough to win a scholarship at UCLA as a walk-on, and had 11 catches for 86 yards last year. He accepted an offer to try out for the Baltimore Ravens this past weekend, but the Ravens didn't have an immediate need for him.
