The 3-spoke alloy wheels are mostly hidden due to the massive brake discs. Braking performance is very good and the Aquila Pro sheds speeds with confidence.

Ride quality is slightly on the stiffer side, even then the bike maintains its composure over really bad roads, without ruffling the rider when potholes are encountered.

The Hyosung Aquila Pro gets thrust from a 647cc, water-cooled, DOHC, V-twin motor which belts out 74 BHP of peak power at 9000 RPM and 62.1 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Performance is very strong and a twist of the right wrist is enough to send the GV650 from 0-100 km/hr in around 6 seconds. Top speed is 195 km/hr but there are quite a lot of vibrations at the higher end of the power band.

The GV650 sounds throaty as soon as you get off the line with the V-twin motor being very audible. The bike will return 20 km/l mileage in normal riding conditions.
