First Nations youth walk 1,600 km to Ottawa

After walking and snowshoeing approximately 1,600 km from the James Bay Cree community of Whapmagoostui, Quebec, six youth and their guide have finally arrived on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The group say they were inspired to set out on their journey by hunger-striking Attawapiskat chief Theresa Spence, in order to bring more attention to the Idle No More movement.
