Derek Jeter injured in ALCS

New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter suffered a broken left ankle while trying to field a ground ball during the 12th inning of Game 1 of the American League Championship Series against the Detroit Tigers. Manager Joe Girardi said after the game that Jeter will miss the remainder of the playoffs.
