David Beckham visit sparks stampede by Chinese fans

 A stampede occurred when

former England soccer captain David Beckham visited Tonji University in Shanghai.

Beckham cancelled his event at the university after the accident

happened upon his arrival, injuring at least five people on Thursday, June 20th,

local media reported. (REUTERS)
