College football stars shine in East-West Shrine Game

In their bids to impress professional scouts, NFL draft prospects from powerhouses and small schools alike took the field for the 89th East-West Shrine Game on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014.

LaDarius Perkins

Max Bullough

Michigan State linebacker Max Bullough makes a block after one of Alden Darby's interception during the East-West Shrine Game. Bullough was a three-year starter for the Spartans but was suspended on Dec. 26, 2013 and did not play in the Rose Bowl. He is projected as a late-round NFL draft pick.

Jordan Lynch

Northern Illinois quarterback and Heisman Trophy finalist Jordan Lynch completed two of seven passes for just three yards and rushed three times for 14 yards in the East-West Shrine Game.

Jimmy Garoppolo

East quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, of Eastern Illinois, sets up to throw a pass during the second half of the East-West Shrine Game. Garoppolo completed nine of 14 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. He is projected as a mid-round NFL draft pick.

Keith Wenning

Ball State senior quarterback Keith Wenning completed 12 of 19 passes during the East-West Shrine Game for 82 yards and threw an interception.

Keith Price

Washington senior quarterback Keith Price drops back to pass during Saturday's East-West Shrine Game. Price completed two of six passes for the West squad, including one for a touchdown. He also rushed twice for 18 yards.

Chandler Jones

Alden Darby
