Young athletes are often faced with a plethora of temptations as schools and agents compete for them. The NCAA list of sanctions is a long one. Tyrone Moss was among eight players from the University of Miami football team who were under investigation for NCAA sanctions. The NCAA investigated allegations that Moss had received $1,000 cash and a ride on a booster's million dollar yacht.

Former Berkley basketball coach Todd Bozeman was forced to resign after an investigation led to the discovery that he had give cash to a recruit. Jelani Garnder was one of the top recruits and Bozeman gave his parents $30,000 in cash so that they could make the travel arrangements to see their son play.
