Breakthrough at Vancouver Aquarium

The Vancouver Aquarium has successfully bred endangered northern leopard frogs of the Rocky Mountain population. It was the first time these creatures were bread in an aquarium setting. The northern leopard frogs are among the most at-risk amphibians in British Columbia. The officials announced plans to release about 2,000 tadpoles in the Columbia Marshes on Monday, May 27.
