Bengals coordinator Jay Gruden hired as Redskins' coach

Jay Gruden was hired as the Washington Redskins' coach Thursday, succeeding Mike Shanahan and joining a 3-13 team after working the last three seasons as the Cincinnati Bengals' offensive coordinator.
