10,000 Easter Egg Tree

Volker Kraft and his wife Christa have decorated their annual Easter Egg tree once again, adorning it with 10,000 decorated Easter eggs. The tradition started in 1965 with the family putting painted hens' eggs on their mother's apple tree, and has now become a major draw for thousands of tourists.
