Chris Paul struggling again, heads to bench

The Suns' floor general Chris Paul is having another low production game in Dallas as he did in Games 3 and 4. He looks as tired as the Suns offense.

He's got seven points, two rebounds, three assists, and four turnovers. Paul's most recent giveaway was when he lost his dribble to start the offense just past midcourt, and it rolled off his foot out of bounds without it being slapped away.

Landry Shamet entered the game for him at 4:25 left in the third quarter as Phoenix trailed, 77-58.

The Mavericks are still in control, 83-64, at 3:20 after Devin Booker scored his first bucket since the first quarter.

Chris Paul has five points (2-of-3 FG), one rebound, two assists. That latter two players have three turnovers each or their team's eight, four of which were committed in the second quarter.

The Mavericks took their biggest lead 17 points late in the second quarter, and went on an 18-6 run in the final 4:12ds of the half. That included four of Dallas' 10 shots from the perimeter, and were 46.2% from the 3 in the second quarter compared to the Suns' 33.3%.

That run was countered by Mikal Bridges' dunk at 3:08, but Luka Doncic hit a step-back 3 from the left wing.

The Suns trail the Mavericks, 52-43, at under two minutes left in the half.

Dallas gets boost from Brunson

Mavericks point guard scored their last six points through just over two minutes until the Suns called a full timeout at 7:01 in the second quarter.

Kyler Murray attending Suns-Mavericks Game 6

Arizona Cardinals' Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray is back home in his native Dallas attending tonight's Game 6 against the Suns and Mavericks.

He was spotted sitting courtside by azcentral sports columnist Kent Somers, who's covering the game.

Even though there's no photo of what Murray's attire is tonight, he might be rooting for the Suns based on when he wore their team hat Saturday at the UFC 274 event in Phoenix. He attended that Charles Oliveira-Justin Gaethje lightweight title bout with Cardinals' Justin Pugh and Zach Ertz.
