The Philadelphia Eagles are already dealing with injuries to several high-profile players and now Carson Wentz will be without his most athletic weapon at the tight end position. Ian Rapoport is reporting that Goedert could “miss some time” with an ankle injury suffered during the first half of the Eagles 23-23 tie with the Bengals.
Goedert will have an MRI to determine the full extent of his injury, while wide receiver DeSean Jackson and cornerback Avonte Maddox were also ruled out with hamstring and ankle injuries, respectively and their status for the 49ers will be something to monitor.
