The Buffalo Bills went into the bye week on a sour note. The team dropped their recent game in dramatic fashion to the Tennessee Titans, 34-31.

But all things considered, the Bills did a pretty good job overall. Buffalo has a 4-2 record and there were a lot more ups than downs to start the 2021 season.

On offense, the Bills blew out a few opponents, including the Kansas City Chiefs.

Defensively, Buffalo also notched two shutouts.

Combining those two sides of the ball, who stood out the most, individually, for the Bills? Pro Football Focus checks in to help us there.

According to the football analytics outlet, here are the Bills’ top-five graded players by the outlet through their first six games:

  1. Josh Allen: 83.7

  2. Matt Milano: 81.7

  3. Stefon Diggs: 77.6

  4. Jerry Hughes: 77.5

  5. Jordan Poyer: 77.2

Allen topping the list makes sense. After a tough Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Allen’s been on point every game since.

Milano has also preformed well, when not injured. Previously, PFF even named him amongst the best linebackers in the entire NFL.

If Allen’s doing well, we know that Diggs is going to be there.

Rounding out the list, Poyer comes as no surprise. He and Micah Hyde have combined for five interceptions. But Hughes is a bit curious.

As a pass rusher, Hughes only has a half of a sack so far this season. But he isn’t really known for his numbers there.

PFF has often praised him for his abilities to generate pressure on opposing backfields.

PFF clearly thinks he’s still doing that in his 12th season.
