Peyton Hillis releases statement after battling back from heroic actions

Former Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis was hospitalized in January after saving his children from drowning. The former running back was on a ventilator and in critical condition for a few weeks after the incident. In a statement released on Tuesday, he thanked everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support and the medical staff that took care of him.

“I just wanted to come on here and thank everyone for all the prayers and love y’all have given me…I left the hospital with no worries and concerns and should make a 100% recovery.”

It is great to see Hillis expected to be back to his old self after a scary situation following a brave action.
