Peyton, Eli Manning to make ‘Monday Night Football’ debut calling Ravens-Raiders game

Peyton and Eli Manning have been drawing laughs for their funny commercials, and they’re about to feature their signature humor some more on national television on Mondays this fall.

The former quarterbacks will serve as commentators for ten alternate broadcasts of “Monday Night Football” games this season. Disney’s regular broadcast will continue to air on ESPN while Peyton and Eli’s broadcast will air on ESPN2.

The duo will make their debut on Monday evening when the Las Vegas Raiders host the Baltimore Ravens to wrap up Week 1.

“Peyton and Eli will bring a different approach, delving into conversation about broader, big-picture topics while also honing in on the game, much like fans do when watching with their family and friends,” Walt Disney Co. chairman of ESPN and sports content Jimmy Pitaro said in a press release.

Last week, ESPN released a teaser for the Peyton and Eli broadcast by showing footage from their preseason warmup game this summer:

The Raiders-Ravens game will begin at 6:15 p.m. MT. In addition to watching on TV, fans can live stream fuboTV (free 7-day trial).
