Peyton and Eli Manning will coach the Pro Bowl again in 2024

Following a suggestion from Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and with the help of former quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning, the NFL completely changed the format of the Pro Bowl last season, replacing the traditional “tackle” football game with a flag football game.

Peyton coached the AFC and Eli coached the NFC in the first-ever flag Pro Bowl earlier this year, and the results were exactly what the NFL was hoping for. The game was entertaining and drew 6.4 million viewers.

It’s no surprise, then, that the NFL has decided to use the same format in 2024 — Peyton and Eli will return to coach the next Pro Bowl in Orlando, the league announced last week.

“Building off the success from last year’s reinvented format that elevated flag football and introduced fun forms of competition and entertainment, we are thrilled to bring The 2024 Pro Bowl Games to Orlando,” NFL executive vice president of club business and league events Peter O’Reilly said in a statement.

The 2024 Pro Bowl will be played at Camping World Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 4. The flag football game will be televised on ESPN and ABC.
