Penguins to hold 2000s theme night

The Penguins will hold a special 2000s theme night when they host the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday.

Throughout the evening, the band “Jukebox” will perform a variety of cover songs from the 2000s and there will be DJs from 105.9 The X.

Former Pittsburgh Penguins and 2009 Stanley Cup champions Tyler Kennedy and Max Talbot will be at the game to relive some of the Penguins’ best moments of the 2000s. The Penguins will wear their ‘Reverse Retro’ jerseys, throwing it back to the uniform they donned in the 2000s.

A free green screen photo booth as well as Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero games will be available to fans by the Wall of Champions Hallway, located on the FedEx Level behind the Captain Morgan Club between sections 110 and 115, through the end of the second intermission.

The Penguins will include numerous video and musical elements from the 2000s in the in-game presentation.

Single-game tickets for 2000s Night, as well as remaining home games, are available for purchase here.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena, with doors opening at 6 p.m.
