Behind big fourth quarters from Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, the New Orleans Pelicans closed out their three-game road trip with a victory in Denver on Sunday, 113-108.

The duo scored 17 of the final 19 points for the shorthanded Pelicans, helping close out Denver in Ball Arena. The pair combined for 60 points – 30 points apiece – with Ingram adding eight assists and six rebounds to help overcome the absence of Lonzo Ball.

Williamson tallied six rebounds and continued his streak of at least 20 points scored for the 20th game running as well. Nickeil Alexander-Walker, returning to the starting lineup for Ball, added 20 points and Josh Hart chipped in 12 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

The Good: Clutch minutes

The Pelicans could hardly have executed better down the stretch on Sunday in what was easily their best performance in the clutch this season. An area that has been a huge issue for them, the Pelicans scored on eight of their final nine possessions in the final four minutes. https://twitter.com/WillGuillory/status/1373746264899252232 The difference on Sunday is that the team found Williamson repeatedly and when they didn't, Ingram attacked the rim instead of settling for jumpers. None of those final eight possessions featured a shot that wasn't either in the paint or a free throw.

The Bad: Eric Bledsoe

Not the first time he's been highlighted, not the last, most likely. In a game the Pelicans won by five points, Bledsoe was -6 in 31 minutes. In the 17 minutes he wasn't on the court, the Pelicans were +11, or the exact plus-minus of Kira Lewis on the night. When Ball returns, Bledsoe should be the one to move to the bench and not Alexander-Walker.

Lonzo Ball: Inactive

Ball didn't play on Sunday but he set Twitter ablaze with his outfit and chain on the sideline.
